Right here, you will find a little bit about us; some
of our interests & credits.
Since launching this site, various things have
changed and moved on. But, in essence, we would like to thank the
following.. some of whom are family & close friends, others
whose assistance has been a little less tangible.
Thanks to all the drivers, past & present, who even
though they may not know it, have created a real passion amongst
so many fans. Bernie Ecclestone, "The Tsar",
without whom F1 would not be in the shape it is today. The Club
Jordan Fan Club, and the hornets, even though at times their
Forum was more like a "Let's Bitch" site than anything
else. Murray Walker (now sadly retired) for his excitement
and understatement (we miss you). Jeremy Clarkson for his
articles in the Sunday Times; and C2C Railway (formerly London
Tilbury Southend) for giving me plenty of time to read, sleep and
dream on those journeys to and from work. Eddie Jordan,
for making sure his fans are able to take part in the sport. Paul
Banks of Club Jordan. Jonathan McCormack, for finding
his site, when I needed a few ideas.
The county of Yorkshire (all three Ridings) and the people
in it. All the kind and caring people we have stayed with including
Val Leeming and Rosie Lister.
Terry & Heather; Keith & Bronwen;
Chris; and all the other members of the Splinter Group
(you know who you are). Southend Photographic Society
for their help & encouragement over the years. KJP: Canon:&
Fuji - all of whom have been pleased to take my money in
exchange for their products. Michele for her encouragement
and comments on the website, photography and everything else (and
seeing F1 from an outsider's point of view). Adobe for making
PageMill 3.0 so easy to use & Photoshop 6 so expensive and difficult
(and yes, I know we have PhotoShop 7, but I'm not sponsered, so
6 will just have to do for now). Angela Reed from Southend
Adult Education for her help and encouragement in mastering Photoshop;
and leading my ideas away from purely a digital darkroom.
A Special Thanks to Lynn (my better half), for her patience
& tidying up after me. And allowing me to spend so many hours
on the computer sorting this all out.

About The Author.
We live in Essex, England. Essex is the county on the
north side of the Thames Estuary, being east of London. Essex is
both an industrial county (based mainly along the Thames corridor)
and an agricultural county. Being close to London, it is also a
commuter county, with direct rail lines to London. Stansted Airport
lies in the North West of the county, having access to the motorway
network; & Express Train access to London's Liverpool Street.
Lynn is born & breed in Essex. Richard moved to Essex from Southeast
London in 1984
