With Grand Prix taking place in countries worldwide, it is followed by millions of devoted fans. Whilst Indy Cars are popular, F1 holds a magic all of it's own. So much so that in September 2000, Formula One returned to Indianapolis. With over 200,000 people watching the race, Formula One's return to America looks secure for many years to come. F1 drivers have moved to CART and CART drivers to F1. Most notably in 2001 is Montoya, who joins the Williams BMW Team.Formula One is currently made up of 11 teams (Toyota is to join the ranks in 2002). Each team has two drivers. They compete in a series of races, held at race tracks throughout the world. At the end of the season, only one driver can call himself World Champion. The teams also compete in the Manufacturer's Championship.
